I love making art and being creative. The mediums I feel most comfortable with are pencil and paper drawings and digital drawings;
however, when it comes to new art mediums, I am a quick learner so that is not the only art I can be successful in creating.
One of my favorite things to do with digital art is create profile pictures, wallpapers, banners for profiles
(like Facebook and LinkedIn), though I would like to grow my abilities and focus on making realistic people, animals, and flowers.
In the past, all my digital art was created with the app ArtFlow, but after graduation I would like to learn how to
do realistic shading in Adobe products so I can do all my digital art in Adobe products. With ArtFlow, I was drawing and shading everything with my finger,
and the app did not have a lot of the helpful features I've come to appreciate in Adobe products. I will be excited to finally be able to create digital art
with smooth curved lines with uniform thickness.
Unless otherwise noted, all digital art was created in the ArtFlow app.

Gaming and Texture Modification
In my spare time, I also play video games. The video games I play must have a creative outlet, so games
that allow customization are my favorite. My favorite video game is Sims 4 because it allows me to
create buildings and decorate interiors.
Although I like playing the game, one of my favorite things about the Sims 4 is the custom content and modding community for the game.
Custom content in the Sims 4 are clothing, wallpapers, furniture, and other game assets created by players.
Due to the size of the community, finding resources to learn how to create your own game assets is very
easy. Sims 4 Studio is a program that will allow you to export textures and meshes from existing items and import your own textures and meshes,
and I used that program to make my own items for the game.
Currently, I only know how to make textures for meshes already in the game, but I plan to learn how to
use Blender to create my own meshes for the game.
In the image carousel below, I have textures that I have modified from the original, as well as
comparisons between the original objects in game and my own version. All textures were modified in the ArtFlow app.

Embroidery and Sewing
I enjoy working on embroidery projects, and I am trying to learn how to sew.
My goal is to be able to make my own clothes and embroider them. Currently, I am working on embroidery kits, but after those are complete,
I will work on creating my own designs and embroidering those. Each embroidery kit takes me over a month to work on, so it is a slow process.
Languages
I love learning new languages. My goal is to be fluent in both German and Dutch.
Growing up, I was proud of my Dutch heritage, so I always wanted to learn Dutch; however, it was not offered in school
so I took German instead and I ended up falling in love with the German language.
In High School, I changed my google account and chrome settings to German, I watched German gaming videos daily,
tried to read my favorite books in German, and found 8.5 hours of German songs and put them in a Spotify playlist.
In college, I took German classes and got a German minor. After college, I hope to find ways to use and develop
my German skills.
Although I do not currently know Dutch, I am able to read a few words here or there due to my knowledge of German.
I plan to expand that knowledge even more in the future. I have two Dutch grammar books and will use them to study
the language, as well as find online resources to learn, similarly to how I found so many online resources to
immerse myself in German despite not living in the country.
In addition to Dutch and German, I am currently trying to learn how to read Hebrew, and eventually
I will want to learn how to read Biblical Greek.
